I have been waking up every morning with really bad allergies.
I haven’t had allergies before, but lately my eyes have been red and my nose won’t stop running. I know that most people have their allergies flare up in the spring, but right now it is the middle of the winter and I have having allergy like symptoms. So, I went to the doctor to see what might be causing these symptoms. My doctor said that I could take allergy medication if I wanted to but she recommended that I call a local HVAC company to come out to my house and clean out my ductwork. She said sometimes when someone experiences unexpected allergy symptoms that it might be dust and debris in the air at their home. So, I called a local HVAC company to have them come out to my house. They spent about twenty minutes cleaning my ductwork before coming to tell me that they were the dirtiest ducts they had ever seen. I was a little bit embarrassed at first, but was happy that I was getting them cleaned out. After I had my ductwork cleaned out I didn’t have any issues with allergies anymore. I guess it really is important to have you ductwork cleaned out regularly. I am never going to let this happen again because I will call my HVAC company at least twice a year to come out and clean out my ductwork.
