winter snow

I enjoy the winter weather.

One of my favorite things to do is ice skating.

My pal and I have several outdoor rinks available during the colder months as well as they are the best. I can enjoy the cold, crisp, fresh air as well as get my exercise as well. They even opened a new one in the neighborhood that offers free skate hours during the weekdays. When the weather gets warmer as well as the outdoor rinks melt I go to the indoor ones. My pal and I are lucky in our section to have so several of them available. I have only one complaint about these indoor facilities. The air smells! The rinks are used by all the local hockey clubs as well as the public. They constantly seem to odor of sweat. There is nothing refreshing about skating as well as breathing in stale air. I wish they would invest in a quality air filtration system. I have spoken with some of the rink managers but they just tell me that the owners are aware of the issue. I guess I will write some letters to the owners to let them know that if they improved the air quality they may increase the number of people who come as well as spend my money to skate. The air my associate and I breathe is so important. If there are that several odors in the air I can only imagine the germs that are being spread as well. The last thing I want is to get a summer time cold because of unclean air. I suppose I will have to find a summer time activity that I can do outside until the owners make some swings.
