Bad food and bad A/C at restaurant

I moved to this area recently so I don’t know what restaurants are good and which are not.

I tried a seafood place that had good reviews but it turned out to be terrible.

The food did not taste fresh and the air conditioner was struggling to keep up with the Southern heat. I don’t know if it was the heat inside the establishment or the food but about halfway through my meal, I started to feel nauseous. As I got up to leave, I noticed that the whole restaurant smelled like bad shrimp. I got out of there in a hurry. Needless to say, I wasn’t quick to find another seafood restaurant. So, a week later, when a new friend wanted to take me out to a seafood restaurant, I was a little hesitant. But she assured me the food was good so I agreed. The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was that this place did NOT smell like rotting seafood. I also noticed that the air conditioner was working great. The view was also amazing. There were these big windows that took up the entire wall facing the sea. We could watch the ships in the bay while staying comfortable in the air conditioning. They had a really nice decorative fish tank along the back wall. When the food arrived, it was delicious too. As an added bonus, I didn’t get sick. This restaurant will be my new go-to for good seafood. I guess you really can judge a restaurant by its atmosphere.
