Usually at the county fair, they have a couple of big air conditioned buildings that you can go into to get a break from the heat.
However, I found out that this year, there aren’t going to be any air conditioned buildings there at all and I don’t know how I feel about that.
I hate being out in the heat, but I really love going to the fair, too. I just don’t know if I can go there and walk around for hours at a time without being able to go and cool off inside of an air conditioned building. I don’t know why in the world they don’t have an area with air conditioning this time. In the past, it has always been one of the most popular parts of the fair. Last year, one of the local heating and cooling companies sponsored a big tent that had air conditioning in it and everyone wanted to go in there. I feel like they really got their name out in the community by offering the tent with the air conditioning in it, but I guess it didn’t really do much for them profit-wise and they’re not doing it again this year. I think that that’s really too bad because it was a really good thing for the community. A lot of people like me with health issues and then other people who are older or even little babies need to have a spot where they can go and cool off whenever the weather is really hot outside. I think some people forget about that.
