My parents have consistently been sticklers when it comes to budgeting their money.

The futuriture was consistently second hand, the rugs were never upgraded despite having stains, and the appliances weren’t anything extravagant, but everything worked and served its purpose, which is how they based the worth of something. It didn’t matter if something was stained or aesthetically pleasing as long as it was practical. When my parents were told that it was time to upgrade their temperature control, they were going to repurchase the same model temperature control that they had before. It was self-explanatory and traditional, however it worked. Their temperature control lasted for over 30 years before it stopped laboring, so they did not see the point in finding something new. It was also the cheapest option at the hardware store. I had a smart temperature control in my home and I knew how amazing it was for my Heating and Air Conditioning system and how efficient it was! My parents were consistently intrigued by the smart temperature control, but I knew they’d never spend that kind of money on a temperature control. I wanted them to have something fancy for once, so I bought a smart temperature control for them as soon as I heard them talking about replacing their aged temperature control. They were shocked that I bought them one, but I could tell that they were cheerful. They’d gotten one of the nicest temperature controls on the market and they didn’t have to spend a dime.
