Technology has a great way of making once challenging tasks a bit easyr. My fiance is great at finding ways to simplify our lives in the midst of our tied up schedules. He has found many ways to add upgrades to our home that does not cut our budget & adds time to our schedules. I am usually a bit further behind on technology upgrades, & I do not constantly see the benefit in these upgrades. One of the most recent upgrades that my fiance advocated was that of a smart thermostat. At first, I thought this would be an unnecessary cost. How often did my nice friend and I entirely adjust our thermostat throughout the morning? I was gratified with the old-fashioned manual thermostat my nice friend and I had, & I did not instantly see a need to upgrade. My normal routine was decreasing the thermostat a few degrees before going to bed each night, & then instantly decreasing it in the morning after waking. As the weather got a bit cooler, I found it harder to push myself to leave my warm bed in the morning & run down the chilly stairs to the thermostat to adjust it before making my morning coffee. It was then that I realized a smart thermostat might be a nice idea. This smart thermostat was a great addition to our home. The smart thermostat came with an app that you could download to your cellphone, which meant that you could adjust the thermostat from any location. This was a great tool for us, as our labor schedules fluctuated. I am so cheerful my fiance advocated the smart thermostat for our home.
