I moved to this section recently so I don’t know what restaurants are great and which are not. I tried a seafood venue that had great reviews but it turned out to be terrible. The food did not taste fresh and the a/c was struggling to keep up with the Southern heat. I don’t know if it was the heat inside the establishment or the food but about halfway through my meal, I started to feel nauseous. As I got up to leave, I noticed that the whole restaurant stinked like bad shrimp. I got out of there in a hurry, and needless to say, I wasn’t quick to find another seafood restaurant. So, a week later, when a new acquaintance wanted to take me out to a seafood restaurant, I was a little hesitant, however but she assured me the food was great so I agreed. The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was that this venue did NOT stink like rotting seafood. I also noticed that the a/c was working great. The view was also amazing. There were these giant windows that took up the entire wall facing the sea. My associate and I could watch the ships in the bay while staying comfortable in the air conditioning. They had a really nice decorative fish tank along the back wall. When the food arrived, it was delicious too. As an added bonus, I didn’t get sick. This restaurant will be my new go-to for great seafood. I know you really can judge a restaurant by its atmosphere.
