I had a bunch of people on their way over to my apartment when quickly my a/c stopped working. I don’t know if it was because the a/c had been working harder all day due to my oven being on or what. I only know that the temperature was 80 degrees plus climbing inside. I called our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier up plus agreed to whatever emergency rates they said. I didn’t even listen, I just told them to get here asap. I then opened all of the windows plus turned on the ceiling fans. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C serviceman arrived just as the guests started arriving. By the time all the people had arrived, it was getting particularly sizzling inside. The guests made light of the situation but I could tell they were uncomfortable. Then, just as I put the food on the table, the a/c kicked back on. All of the guests cheered. I was very blissful. I even invited the serviceman to eat with us. After some persuasion, he agreed. I found out over supper that the serviceman was particularly the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier. He had come out special to repair my cooling system because he didn’t have anyone else to send on such short notice. He didn’t end up charging me an emergency repair fee either. Needless to say, his is the only Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier I will use from now on. It is funny how the bad advantage of my a/c going out just before a big get-together turned out to be a fantastic thing. I made a up-to-date friend plus now have a supplier I know I can rely on.
