I viewed it as more of a calling than a job that I needed to do.
I appreciated hearing stories that the older boys plus women shared with me whenever I bathed them or attended to their personal needs. While I was a fully trained nurse, caregiving was more of a passion for me, plus I did not mind helping the older generation. I got so various blessings from the boys plus women who felt the cherish I shared with them in the process; So various had been neglected by a family who could no longer care for them while others had led a solo life, so there was no one to be with them. I tried my best to make them comfortable plus supply them pain medication since most were terminally ill, but part of my duty was to ensure that they felt relaxed plus happy, which I thrilledly did so much job. I applied a lot of tricks to achieve this plus sporadically needed gadgets to make it work. One of the things I insisted on when I first came to this dwelling was to have the owner install the right Heating plus A/C system for the residents. The old boys plus women consistently complained about weird heating plus cooling needs. I commanded the owner to change the central Heating plus A/C system to a mini-split AC component with each room’s thermostat. This way, the residents could set their preferred temperatures plus be more comfortable despite their diverse preferences. This has worked perfectly since they plus the old folks are happier than they ever were before.
