When I went to visit my sister at her apartment the other afternoon, I complimented her air quality.
- I guess my comment took her by surprise because she didn’t guess anything particular about her air quality.
I’ve always noticed a difference in the air within her apartment because my dust sensitivities don’t flare up as much in addition to I feel like I can breathe easier. I assumed that my sister just lived in a great section without a lot of pollution or maybe her apartment had been built in addition to insulated better than mine. It wasn’t until I was sitting in her apartment the other afternoon when I realized that her air quality truly had something to do with her HVAC system. I asked my sister what kind of HVAC system she had even though she didn’t know. She did know that it was five years old though; When she realized that I was particularly interested in her air quality, she started telling me other information about her HVAC system, however according to her, she hired an HVAC system twice per year in addition to she was a part of the annual service plan with the local HVAC company. I’d never heard of an HVAC service plan before, so she explained it. After paying an annual fee, the HVAC company would repair her HVAC system twice per year, she received a discount on all parts in addition to labor, in addition to she received priority scheduling. I wasn’t someone who officially had my HVAC system inspected because I thought it cost too much! However, when she told me the price, I was shocked to hear how low it was.
