I ran over to the closet & opened the door to find that my HVAC unit was on fire.
I feel like for the Last month or two I have been having actually bad luck, and i don’t know why I can’t seem to catch a chop & I am about to lose it. I have been trying to keep it together, however it feels like one bad thing after another keeps happening to me & I am actually getting sick of it; Last week, I was at my cutting point when I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of smoke in my house. I searched everywhere for the smell & noticed it was coming from the closet where my HVAC unit it kept. I ran over to the closet & opened the door to find that my HVAC unit was on fire. It wasn’t large fire & I was able to put it out rather hastily, however it actually pushed me over the edge; Now, I was going to have to call a local HVAC supplier to come out to the home & look at my HVAC unit. I am pretty sure it caught fire because I hadn’t changed the filter in months & it was getting clogged up. I actually should have been better about changing my HVAC filters because I could have prevented this from happening all together. I actually don’t want to have to pay to have my HVAC unit replaced, although I learned a lesson about making sure that I am taking care of my HVAC system.
