We went down south last week and there wasn’t any air conditioning in the place where we stayed. We have been planning on going on this vacation for a long time, and I was pretty happy with the deal that I got on the cabin that we were supposed to be staying in. However, I guess I just did not read the fine print on the rental agreement for some reason and that’s how I ended up booking a place for us that did not have any central air conditioning. Once we got there and I realized that we did not have any central air conditioning in the house, I knew that I had made a huge mistake. Never in a million years would I have booked a house without air conditioning in it if I had only been more thorough in my investigations of the rental property. I guess I just wasn’t really paying all that much attention. Most of the time when we go down south to visit, all of the properties have air conditioning in them. I guess I just took for granted that this particular cabin would have air conditioning in it too. That wasn’t the case though. The only air conditioning in this entire cabin was a window unit air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately for us, there were no other available rentals anywhere in the vicinity and so we had to stay put there. Needless to say, we had the window unit air conditioning blasting the whole time and everyone piled into the bedroom.
